With its Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi has finally decided to enter the trendy mobile world of dual rear cameras. Looks like the company has decided to follow the footsteps of Huawei that recently released its next generation smartphone Honor 8, which also has a dual rear camera similar to the one in Huawei's P9.

A picture posted by GSM Arena is professed to be a leaked teaser for the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. According to the publication, if the image is true, then the upcoming phablet will have a dual rear camera with a flash placed between the two camera holes.

With LED flash between the two cameras, the Mi logo has moved further down on the back of Redmi Note 4. The side of the phone does not feature a fingerprint scanner. So, if there will be a scanner in the phone at all, it might be featured on the front.

It is speculated that the fingerprint scanner may be embedded in a physical Home button, similar to the one featured on Xiaomi Mi 5. In any case, it is clear that the design of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be different from that of Redmi Note 3, which had a biometric sensor on its back. The changes in the design are no doubt a result of the inclusion of a dual camera.

No other details pertaining to the specs of the phone have been released as yet. However, another report published by GSM Arena suggests that Xiaomi might soon unveil Redmi Note 4. The phone might come with a bigger touchscreen area than usual and a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 chipset.

So far, the company has gone with 5.5 inch screen for all its phones in the Redmi series. In addition, the phablet is rumored to possess 16GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM. Redmi Note 4 is also rumored to offer support for Qualcomm's QC 3.0 fast charge tech. No details regarding the price of the phone have been leaked yet.
