Randy Orton is set to face Brock Lesnar in a dream match at SummerSlam on August 21 in Brooklyn, New York. Orton's WWE television return has been revealed and it would be in a special edition of Chris Jericho's "The Highlight Reel."

The WWE made the announcement in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, per FOX Sports. Jericho will be hosting the segment at Battleground as Orton starts to build up his match with Lesnar. The two superstars have never had a feud before and it is certainly a fresh matchup.

However, many fans are expecting to a Lesnar win since he recently had a successful return to the sport of mixed martial arts. The Beast defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 via unanimous decision as he used his great wrestling and ground game.

According to Cageside Seats, Lesnar will win his match against Orton regardless of the outcome of his UFC comeback. The WWE still believes that Lesnar is still their best draw and they are right. They will continue to book him strong until he decides to put over a younger wrestler and move to MMA full-time again or even retire.

On the other hand, it would be great to see Orton back as he has been missing since suffering a legitimate shoulder injury in late September. He was reportedly out for six to nine months but the WWE was hoping for a faster recovery.

It was not meant to be since Orton suffered a couple of setbacks but he looks good to go for SummerSlam. Lesnar is not someone many superstars want in their first match back from injury, but it is a match made for the fans.

The 36-year-old has been plagued by shoulder injuries in his entire career and being taken to Suplex City is not great for those shoulders. Nevertheless, Orton and Lesnar are two of the biggest names in WWE history.

They were part of the Ohio Valley Wrestling "Big Four" along with Batista and John Cena that was seen as the future of the company. Lesnar had a great run from 2002 to 2004 before leaving to pursue a career in the NFL and MMA.
