Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will also be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, according to a BGR report.

The smaller of the two Nexus devices will have a 2,770mAh battery and the bigger device will have a 3,450mAh battery, 9to5Google reported.

The search giant Google is scheduled to take the wraps off the two smartphones sometime soon. Several reports suggest that the company will announce the new handsets sometime in September and then put the devices up for sale in October 2016.

Also, there are speculations that the Android 7.0 Nougat will be launched in the third quarter of 2016, and will possibly hit the shelves in August.

Meanwhile, Copperhead, an information security company, has been working on a custom ROM for Android called CopperheadOS. Now, people can purchase Nexus devices with this custom operating system pre-installed.

CopperheadOS is available for the Nexus 9, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Nexus 5.

According to the company, CopperheadOS is a hardened open-source OS based on Android. The operating system features additional privacy-centric features such as separate lockscreen and encryption passwords and alternatives to Google apps.

CopperheadOS has been out for a while now. In May, the Toronto-based Copperhead launched an online store where it sold the Google Nexus 5X smartphone. Now, people can grab the Google Nexus 6P smartphone with the secure operating system.

The OS is free. Therefore, those who know how to swap out ROMs can grab it on the website of the company. The Google Nexus 6P costs about $750 with CopperheadOS. On the Google Store, the smartphone costs about $500. People can also purchase a Nexus 6P and then install the operating system for free.

The company's operating system is targeted at Pixel and Nexus devices. Copperhead will support the devices for as long as the search giant Google does.
