Having voiced Ash Ketchum in the "Pokémon" series and Nico Robin/Miss Sunday in the "One Piece" series, Veronica Taylor was very excited when the "Pokemon Go" game was released on July 7. She also voiced the Pokemon trainer in "Pokemon: The First Movie- Mewtwo Strikes Back" and "Pokemon 3: The Movie," which were released in 1998 and in 2000, respectively.

Published by the Pokemon Company and developed by Niantic, the Pokemon GO app is a location-based augmented reality mobile game. With GPS and phone camera, players of this free-to-play game deal with virtual Pokémon appearing throughout the real world.

Initially, games creators the number of players on the "Pokemon Go" game in order to prevent crashes. Unfortunately, Taylor was not able to make the cut, the voice actress revealed to TMZ.

Ash Ketchum is the main protagonist of the "Pokemon" series, both in the anime and manga versions. The character was voiced by Taylor for eight seasons in the TV series version from 1998 to 2006.

Aside from Ash Ketchum in "Pokemon," the other characters voiced by Taylor include Yukino Miyazama in "His and Her Circumstances," Emeralda in "Harlock Saga" and Narue Nanase/Hatakaze in "The World of Narue." She voiced Dia/Clawdia in "Fighting Cooking Legend Bistro Recipe" from 2001 to 2003.

From 2000 to 2003, Taylor voiced Nico Robin/Miss Sunday in "One Piece." The character is an archaeologist and a member of Luffy's crew called the Straw Hat Pirates.

From 2014 to 2015, Taylor voiced Sailor Pluto in "Sailor Moon Crystal." Also in the voice cast of the series was American-South Korean actor Johnny Yong Bosch, who is known for playing Adam Park/The Black Ranger in the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" series from 1994 to 1996.

Bosch is one of the featured guests at Laredo's Comic Con, presented by the South Texas Collectors Expo on Oct. 8-9, according to LMT. Ian Ziering and Tara Reid's "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!" co-star Lou Ferrigno will also be featured at the event.

On the big screen, Bosch is set to star in "The Rogue." The upcoming action drama film also stars Tobin Bell, Bobbie Phillips and Scott Patterson.
