"My first sexual experience was not a good one," she told Marie Claire's Allison Glock. "I didn't think about it until I started reading my journal again. When it happened, I wrote about it almost like a throwaway. It was like, And then I looked down and realized he was inside of me. He was saying, 'I'm so sorry' and 'I can't believe I did this.'"

Schumer added that the man she had the sexual encounter with is no longer in her life and she does not feel like he deserves punishment for what he did. She pointed out that the incident happened 17 years ago and it was not the only time she had such a non-consensual sexual encounter.

The actress recalled an episode with one of her boyfriends in the past, when she refused his sexual advances but it was completely disregarded.

In the exclusive interview, Glock also touched on how she and Schumer discussed how common it is to have such an experience, to which she replied by saying that because of new discussions of rape culture and the nature of consent, women are now opening up about traumatic sexual experiences that earlier used to be swept under the rug, according to the Huffington Post.

"You know, with the rape survivor, it's not just shaming, it's fury," Schumer said. "It makes people so mad if you're not a perfect victim," Schumer said.
