The upcoming episode of "Dragon Ball Super" may reveal the true identity of Black Goku as God King Zamasu as hinted by several evidences from the previous episodes. "Dragon Ball Super" episode 52 is entitled, "Master Pupil Reunion: Son Gohan and 'Future' Trunks."
The official preview for the said episode states, "Trunks is bewildered by present Gohan! Even though he's from a different world, Future Trunks still wants to thank Gohan! Learning where Gohan can be found from Piccolo and co., Trunks goes off to meet him, but he's shocked to find Gohan different than he expected."
Preview of the upcoming episodes suggests the focus will be on Gohan and Trunks' relationship and how the latter would be witnessing a different Gohan compared to the one he encountered in the future.
The preview also suggested that Trunks was somewhat disappointed of what Gohan has become. Although a particular reason was not yet revealed for this one, some believes Gohan stopped becoming a great fighter, and focused on other things instead, according to a post at Reddit.
The post added that Gohan was regarded as the strongest mortal in the universe when he was able to defeat Cell but he allowed other fighters to surpass him when he decided to focus on his studies and have a family of his own. It also explained that in terms of academics, Gohan is never really special like Bulma, but he is one of those fighters who can easily destroy an entire solar system.
While a reunion between Trunks and Gohan is set to happen, Bulma on the other hand is expected to focus on repairing her newly discovered time machine. She will conduct maintenance works on the said machine and will identify that a particular energy supplies the machine's driving force.
A reunion between the master and pupil is rumored to end up in a fusion who will fight Black Goku. Aside from this, the show is speculated to be nearing the stage where they will be revealing the real identity of Black Goku. In another post at Reddit, user mozillavulpix pointed out that God King Zamasu being Black Goku is "pretty much confirmed."
