"Dragon Ball Super" episode 52 will reveal who will reign supreme between Gohan and Black Goku but fans are also wondering if the fight will come into place in this episode.
The synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 52 says that Bulma will try to repair the time machine and comprehend its energy. It will also reveal more about Future Trunks who questions Goku about the Black Goku. Future Trunks will also learn about what happened to Gohan after he defeated Perfect Cell, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
With the title "Master And Pupil Reunion: Son Gohan and Future' Trunks," the episode will air on July 17. Spoilers indicate that Goku will introduce himself to the group and will ask if Trunks will meet Gohan. A character responded that Trunk might be surprised when he meets Gohan since he is already a scholar.
Since Gohan is now a scholar and will possibly be the master of Future Trunks, he could be one of the strongest super saiyan in the future. With that, Gohan might not stop fighting like what he intended and might be the only person to defeat Black Goku. But due to his lack of interest in fighting, he might not turn out that powerful and strong.
In the episode, Future Trunks may ask Gohan to come with him in the future and personally see the devastation caused by Black Goku. Seeing the destruction might encourage Gohan to fight Black Goku. It is interesting to see if Gohan will indeed decide to fight.
Speculations reveal that the end of Black Goku is near when the protagonist discover that the Time Ring that he is wearing on his finger is his weakness. This may show that Black Goku will be defeated really soon. To recall, Goku and Vegeta expressed their interest to fight Black Goku in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 51 but fans wonder if Goku will have a future if he fights himself.
In the same episode, Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks will also learn more about Black Goku. They will discover that Beerus created Black Goku so that he can bring the Planet Earth of Universe 6 back to life.
