Known for her role in "Pirates of the Caribbean" where she acted alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, the expectant mother said she was followed by a lot of photographers who could not give her a break and every move she did was captured by the cameras.

According  the actress, around 20 to 30 men followed her on a 24-hour surveillance and some of them called her a wh*re whenever she went out of her house to try and record any violent reaction from her and she admitted it was a difficult thing to deal with.

Knightley pointed out that it was a tough time for her back then as paparazzi tried to get under her skirt to take photos of her underwear and they even spat at her to get a reaction from the guy she was with at that time. She pointed out that those kinds of photos made a lot of money and the paparazzi was desperate for it.

For Knightley, getting married and being pregnant have made it different for her in terms of the paparazzi following her around as she noted that they might have though there's no news in it anymore if she does not go out with other people anymore or get drunk in clubs. Knightley is married to her husband James Righton and is expectant of their first baby.

During her recent appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Knightley talked about how desperate she is to have a glass of margarita but it's not possible since there is a bun in the oven. She has not revealed her plans for the baby yet but jokingly said she plans to get it out although there's more to it than just that.

For her "The Imitation Game" performance, Knightley was nominated for the Oscars, which will be held on Feb. 22.
