Despite gaining several injuries from shooting "Maze Runner: The Death Cure," Dylan O'Brien will still join the upcoming season of "Teen Wolf" set to air this fall as confirmed by showrunner Jeff Davis. Davis revealed in his interview that Stiles, who is O'Brien's character will be a major part of season 6. He added that majority of the season will revolve around the teen actor's character.

Davis further said the next season will feature Stile's relationship among Scott, Lydia and Malia. The showrunner said, "We're going to see why exactly he's Scott's best friend, what it means that he's Malia's human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won't-they relationship is with Lydia," EW reported.

Before O'Brien got his injuries, Davis revealed that his character has already been planned to be the center of the upcoming season, so his injuries will not change any of what was agreed for season 6. "When we were going into discussing this season, knowing that Dylan O'Brien had a big movie he was going off to do, we wanted to make sure that Stiles was going to be a very important part of Teen Wolf 6A," Davis says. "So a lot of this story is about Stiles."

"Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey on the other hand gave some details on what fans should expect for the next season. He said that fans will have a lot of reflecting to do, because what they are currently doing for the show is cool and beautiful, and that viewers will fall in love with Stiles all the more. He added that the upcoming season will be full of reminiscing in terms of Stiles and Scott's relationship over the past years.

Meanwhile, another "Teen Wolf" star announced she will not become a part of season 6. Arden Cho said she would not be returning to the TV series via a YouTube video posted last April, TV Guide reported. Cho plays Kira Yukimura who had been a part of the show for more than three years.

In the video, Cho said that there would be times some characters are needed to be written off the show since not everyone's story can be accommodated due to the number of characters present. For more details on "Teen Wolf," watch the video clip below.
