Fans can now watch online the 'Food Wars: Shokugeki No Soma' season 2, episode 3 Eng sub. The episode shows Akira Hayama vs Hisako Arato in a Hamburger Battle.
The show started with the result of the second battle showing Alice Nakiri's secretary Ryo Kurokiba defeating Megumi Tadokoro in the Ramen Battle. Despite her defeat, the crowd lauded Megumi, especially Miyoko Hojo, who acknowledged Megumi's cooking.
The next battle for the Autumn Elections is between Akira Hayama and Erina Nakiri's secretary Hisako Arato. With hamburger as theme, Hisako served a hamburger using turtle meat. She used steamed pork buns as a peg. With her expansive knowledge in Chinese oriental medicine, she integrated traditional medicine in her dish.
Akira Hayama, on the other hand, used his rare sense of smell and created another fragrant dish using kebab, more specifically kofte, which is a combination of lamb and beef and a native dish in Turkey. He used pita as buns, yogurt sauce, and achaar. The latter seemed to be the secret ingredient in the dish resulting to his win.
The eighth contestant Mimasaki Subaru also appeared for the first time. It was learned that he ranked fourth in the preliminaries under Team B with a score of 91. He pushed Marui and Ibusaki out of the Top 4.
The fourth match, which will be shown next episode, is between Takumi Aldini and Mimasaki Subaru in a Shokugeki after the latter insulted Takumi's younger brother Isami and their Italian cooking.
