'Dragon Ball Super' episode 53 will not air on July 24; Zamasu to help Goku and company defeat Black?

The next episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will not release on its regular airing date which is supposed to be on July 24. Instead, episode 53 will air on July 31 on Fuji TV after the anime takes its one-week break. The upcoming episode will feature Goku and Zamasu beating each other, with the encounter believed to lead the latter helping out Goku and company to defeat Black.

As previously revealed, episde 53 is entitled as "Reveal Black's True Identity! Now, to the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 10," Otakukart reported. the episode is expected to finally reveal who resides inside future Goku's body. For the revelation to take place, some believe a greater force is needed to have Black Goku finally unveiling his true form.

In the official synopsis of episode 53, it reads, "After realizing that Black has the same ki as Zamasu, Universe 10's apprentice Kaioshin, the God of Destruction Beerus and his attendant Whis head to Universe 10 together with Goku. In order to verify his ki, Goku challenges Zamasu (who distrusts humanity) to a battle, but..," the post said.

Now that Goku, Beerus and Whis are heading to Universe 10 to meet the destruction God, which is apparently Zamasu, the encounter may link to Black's revelation of his identity. It is believed that after Goku faced Zamasu in battle, the latter will be convinced to join their group to team up and face Black Goku.

The newly released preview suggests Goku's first meeting with the destruction God will not be as pleasant as expected. It only flashed several scenes between the two warriors' face-off, with Zamasu gaining the upper hand. Though several sources already claimed Zamasu's power is comparable to a supreme being, these speculations are yet to be confirmed in the upcoming episode.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 will air on July 31 instead of its regular airing schedule of July 24 due to the anime's one-week break, The Daily Mention revealed. The hiatus was due to several criticisms received by the anime series.
