A new plot for "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will deal with Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and his team of heroes; Sarah Lance/White Canary (Lotz), Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh) Mick Rory/Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Prof. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh)/Firestorm being warned by someone to not go the Waverider as it spells their doom in the future.

That individual is name Rex Tyler/Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) and proclaimed himself a member of the Justice Society of America. Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly that basically the whole team will have to decide their own mission statements since the Time Masters are no longer a threat to them thanks to their actions, so in a way, Rip's team will have to become Time Masters and doing it the best way they can.

The introduction of the JSA in "Legends of Tomorrow" will likely give viewers and comic book fans the live-action appearances of some members such as Alan Scott/Green Lantern, Wesley Dodds/Sandman, Jim Corrigan/The Spectre, Kent Nelson/Doctor Fate, Al Pratt/The Atom, Power Girl etc.

Both Hawkman and Hawkgirl decided to leave the team and move on now that Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) has been defeated, but the Egyptian lore still present in season 2, it seems that both heroes will likely join the fight once again.
