Many fans were surprised to find out that The Undertaker is not eligible for the WWE Draft, prompting speculations about his status in the company. According to the latest rumors, The Undertaker is not retired and he was not just part of the plans for the brand extension.

The 51-year-old last appeared on WWE television at WrestleMania 32 when he defeated Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell Match. Many believed that it was his last match because he left his gloves at the center of the ring. That gesture symbolizes retirement in mixed martial arts, a sport The Undertaker is a big fan.

However, there was no official announcement from The Phenom or the WWE about his retirement. Despite his age, The Undertaker is still in very good shape and can wrestle with the best and youngest members of the main roster.

On the other hand, the WWE released the rules and official list of superstars eligible for the draft. To the surprise of many, The Undertaker's name was not on the list. It started a lot of speculations that he may indeed be retired.

According to Cageside Seats, The Undertaker is not officially retired and the WWE just did not want him to be part of any brand. It should be noted that before appearing in several matches last year, he has been wrestling only at WrestleMania.

The Undertaker is a special attraction and he should not be with any brand. Around WrestleMania season, young wrestlers will likely get the chance to challenge him in a match. This may go on until he decides to officially hang up his boots.

On the other hand, there were reports that The Undertaker and Vince McMahon's relationship has been deteriorating. The legendary wrestler was rumored to be furious at his boss because he was asked to lose to Shane.

However, these rumors have not been confirmed but it is known that The Undertaker's appearances at the European Tour were canceled after WrestleMania. He was also set to wrestle at SummerSlam but he reportedly refused to answer Vince's calls.

Nevertheless, The Undertaker is not officially retired but he is enjoying the life. A fan posted a photo of the 51-year-old on Reddit looking rather normal. He was wearing a cap, golf shirt and cargo shorts.
