Finally the food lovers and the fans of ''Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma'' are happy as the second season started airing from July 2, 2016. This popular Japanese shōnen manga series has a lot of fans and in the last episode, which was aired on Jul. 16, 2016, the protagonist Yukihira Soma was seen losing to Hayama by just one point.
The season 1 was premiered on Apr. 4, 2015 and it had 24 episodes. The final episode was aired on Sep. 26, 2015. This popular anime series which is based on the manga series written by Yūto Tsukuda is all set to bring out the chef in the viewers. In the manga, the attractive pictures are illustrated by Shun Saeki. The most important person for the series is Yuki Morisaki who is the main hero of this series as he provides the recipes for the manga series which is finally adapted by the anime.
The original Japanese anime was aired on on TBS, MBS, Animax, CBC and BS-TBS. The English dubbed version was aired on Anime Network in North America. Crunchyroll then streamed the first season from Apr. 3, 2015 and has started airing the second season now. This series is based on the animated adaptation of the lives of chefs and almost represents "Hell's Kitchen" for the beginners.
All the characters in this manga series are students of a prestigious culinary school and they go through the ups and downs of the life of a budding chef. Most of them are dropped out in the journey as they fail to create magic in their palettes. As the viewers had seen in season 1, the main character Soma accepts his father's challenge and goes ahead to enrol in a culinary school. His father wants to fulfil his unfulfilled dream through his son now.
The intention of these competitions is to finally select the best chefs to work for Michelin star restaurants. Soma's father never got a chance to become the famous chef he wanted to be, and win in a culinary battle. When Soma enrolled in the culinary school which was shown in season 1, he faced a tough competition from many other young rivals who were obsessed with cooking like him.
The animators of J.C. Staff studio have given life to the characters of this series reported when-will.net. The series has an undertone of dry humor and the visitors of Soma's father's restaurant express the happiness after eating the great cuisines in a different fashion. Many of them have a sexual connotation attached to them.
In episode 3 of season 4, the fans were hoping that Megumi will win the match; however, Ryo finally is declared the winner. The finals will see Soma, Megumi, Takumi, Hisako, Alice, Kurokiba, Hayama, and Mimasaka fighting it out, reported anime news network.
