"The Flash" season 3 cast members Grant Gustin and Candice Patton recently filmed their kissing scene together as Barry Allen and Iris West.

A photo published online by YVR Shoots showed Barry and Iris kissing each other right outside the West family's residence.

The filming itself took place at the Cambie Village where Iris and Joe's house is located.

Meanwhile, the publication revealed that Barry and Iris' kiss didn't just happen casually. Instead, Barry went up the steps and sat next to Iris. The two characters got to talking and then the lead character leaned in to kiss her best friend.

"#theFlash season 3 Barry & Iris sitting on the steps k-i-s-s-i-n-g in #Vancouver," the photo caption read.

According to Design N Trend, the photo also had similarities with a scene from season two's finale where Barry kissed Iris right before he decided that he will travel back in time to help save his mom Nora.

At that time, Iris gave Barry her support to do what he needed to do because he just lost his dad Henry and was feeling utterly alone.

However, Barry's decision will have dire consequences not only in the life of Barry, but in the life of all of the characters in the hit The CW series.

This is why Barry and Iris' kiss in the photo can seem very misleading. This scene could either come from a flashback, but most likely not from a time when Barry's mom was still alive.

In other news, the comic book series revealed that Barry will wake up only to find out that he no longer has any superpowers. Citizen Cold is also Central City's hero and not The Flash. Additionally, Nora is alive and well, and Barry's dad Henry passed away from a heart attack three years before the Flashpoint storyline.

Gustin previously confirmed that the flashpoint storyline in the TV series will not be the same with how it was depicted in the comic books.

On his Twitter account, the actor wrote, "We're definitely doing the FP thing our own way," he said.

"The Flash" season 4 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
