However, players continue to experience server crashes that log them out of "Pokemon Go." A few gamers were also unable to log into the mobile gaming app due to the said server issue. A three-step bug that prevents avid fans from getting the correct distance information of Pokemon characters in the wild is still present.

The recently released patch update has also resulted in an immediate server crash, as indicated in the report. Gamers who were hoping that Niantic's latest "Pokemon Go" update will fix the game's bugs and issues were only disappointed with patch 1.0.3.

Since the release of the hit mobile game, players have been experiencing server and game stability issues. Niantic's servers may not sufficient to accommodate the huge number of people currently playing the game in the United States, as well as other parts of the world. The server issue, bugs and the game freezing has just been some of the usual complaints that many gamers have raised.

Meanwhile, the three-step glitch is one of the major bugs that many players have experienced. Avid gamers would know that one way to discover a Pokemon's location is through the game's three step feature. The less number of steps would usually indicate that a player is nearing the location of a Pokemon.

However, the bug has made it appear that a Pokemon would still be three steps away even if a character is located near a player. The glitch has made tracking Pokemon a more difficult task, Kotaku stated. Finding a specific character can also be challenging given the said bug.

Niantic has yet to comment on the latest three-step glitch and other game issues. Avid fans of the "Pokemon Go" would need to wait for further announcements from the developer on upcoming game updates and bug fixes.
