Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's divorce continues to get messier this week. In the recent development, the actor has filed a new document pertaining to the privacy of their now very public split.

According to the court document obtained by Us Weekly, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor has filed a request on July 15 to keep any forthcoming information discovered during the proceedings, including financial information and witness statements, as confidential. The actor also requested that anyone who testifies in the case be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

The court document also states that Depp acknowledges that Heard is entitled to most of the information she sought in her request and subpoena. The document further states that the actor is willing to produce the necessary document for her evaluation, provided a confidentiality agreement be executed to protect the either parties' privacy.

The actor's petition also notes that the case has been in the public's eye since its inception. It claims that since the actress refuses to sign the confidentiality agreement, Depp wants the court to issue a protective order.

The filing reveals that Depp's legal team has sent a proposed confidentiality agreement to Heard's lawyer on May 27. However, the actress' attorney replied that neither she nor the actress will sign such agreement. The filing also pointed that the actress' attorney Samantha Spector has allegedly leaked excerpts of the verbal settlement offered to the actress to the media.

Depp and Heard met on the sets of "The Rum Diary." After dating for three years, the two got married in February 2015 in a private civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles. The actress filed for divorce in May 2016.

In related news, Depp's massive estate in the South of France is back on the market. The property is now listed at $55 million, a price which is more than double than what was originally listed when it first hit the market in June, 2015.

The property is an old French village located outside the town of Saint-Tropez, CNN Money reported. The 37-acre property boasts a former church and a restaurant set around an old square.
