The upcoming "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will witness Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) and Kono (Grace Park) dealing with challenges in the honeymoon stage of their marriage.

According to Design & Trend, showrunner Peter M. Lenkov said that things will not be running smoothly for the newly-married couple in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7. It can be remembered that Gabriel (Christopher Sean) kidnapped them during their honeymoon, and to make matters worse, Adam turned himself into the police for murdering the two men he was instructed to kidnap by Goro Shioma (Akira Hirayama).

His desire to protect Gabriel's reputation by keeping his criminal records under covers will affect his new marriage to an extent in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7, according to Lenkov. He shared that the couple will have to "get to know each other again," given that Adam will "start to question things" during his time in jail.

Although Lenkov assures fans that "their relationship is in a healthy place" and Kono will trust her husband, they would need to rebuild the rapor and understanding that they had for each other. With four months left off with his 2-year sentence in prison and Season 7 continuing the tracks of the Season 6 finale, Adam and Kono's fans may have to wait for a few episodes of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 before seeing their favorite couple reunite.

Moreover, according to Christian Times, with the impending "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 premiere, Lenkov has been keeping the fans on their toes through social media. In an Instagram post, the executive producer shared a teaser video clip of a death-defying chasing scene on a rooftop. He captioned this, "Every year we try to outdo ourselves...looks like this year the challenge is met. Here's a tiny taste from the premiere..."

As if one Instagram video wasn't enough, Lenkov posted a video of the same scene from a different perspective, depicting how the show's stunt man exhibited his skills by jumping through the window of an abandoned building.

This hype-building on social media may be because the show's TV ratings have been in constant drop. Perhaps, this is a strategic technique in order to revive "Hawaii Five-0's" fan base and increase the show's popularity once again.
