The upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 7 may be one of the highly anticipated seasons of the HBO series following the events that occurred in the Season 6 finale. The said episode has shown several interesting and shocking scenes. One of these included a secret meeting between Sansa and Littlefinger where the Lord Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen) revealed his dream to take control of the Iron Throne with Turner's character as his queen. Although Sansa refused the offer, the two characters later shared a special look when Jon was acknowledged a King of the North.

During the HBO show's San Diego Comic-Con panel held on Friday, July 22, Turner stated that the look between the two characters was Sansa's way of recognizing the truth behind what Littlefinger had told her, Vanity Fair reported. The actress also shared that Sansa had a moment in season 6 when she felt intrigued with what Gillen's character had offered to her.

Turner mentioned that after her character's efforts in the bloody battle were left unrecognized, Sansa has come to the realization that Littlefinger would be able to give her the credit that she deserves. The situation may potentially affect how Sansa would view her relationship with Jon and whether her loyalty will remain true to the resurrected warrior. "But it's very interesting to see where her loyalties will now lie-whether she'll go with Jon or Littlefinger," Turner said.

In the show's previous season, viewers also saw Sansa slowly becoming a stronger person, as well as a leader. Turner stated during the Comic Con panel that she has no idea if her character will rise to the challenge of becoming a true leader in the upcoming new season, Entertainment Weekly reported. The actress also indicated that it is still unsure if Sansa will become a true Stark and do the right thing or evolve into a "completely sadistic" character.

Viewers will have to look forward to further spoiler news to learn more about beloved characters. "Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to return to the small screens in summer 2017.
