"Frozen" star Kristen Bell got emotional and teary eyed as she talked about her husband of three years, Dax Shepard. The actress also talked about their wedding in 2013 and shared a few wedding photos for the first time ever.

Bell told CBS News' Sunday Morning show in an interview that she and the "Parenthood" actor got married in a small room in the Beverly Hills courthouse.  She said that it was one of the best days of her life.

People Magazine recounted that Bell's wedding to Shepard did not have the hottest Hollywood stars on the guest list and there was no expensive reception.  In fact, according to the report, the actress and singer did not even wear a fancy white dress.

The 36-year-old mother-of-two finally released a few photos of the simple courthouse ceremony.  The photos showed her wearing a black shirt paired with black pants, her hair naturally loose, smiling at her new husband, who looked dapper in a tux. One of the photos also showed their wedding kiss.

Bell then got emotional when she opened up about Shepard and his troubled past. She said that her husband is a "wonderful father" and "knows the value of things," and admitted that he had been an addict for a long time.

According to Bell, Shepard pulled himself out of his addiction and has been sober for around 12 years now.  She noted that Shepard knows the number of times he has messed up and has come close to losing everything.

The couple have been together since 2007 and got engaged in 2010.  Bell gave birth to daughter Lincoln in 2013 and daughter Delta in 2015.

Bell also stressed out how much more important her family is compared to her career.  She said she will not be thinking of the television shows or movies she has done when she is on her deathbed, but of her family.

The actress lead-starred in the teen drama series "Veronica Mars," which ran from 2004 to 2007, played the title character in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," as well as voiced Princess Anna in 2013's "Frozen," among others.

Bell emphasized that she is happy with the level of her success.  While she has had many successful projects, she said that the "big fish" have a really hard time.  According to her, she can still go to the grocery store, so she is happy with the "size fish" that she is.
