It is almost 3 years since the hit Japanese anime series, "Attack on Titan," wrapped its successful first installment. Now, rumors are very loud that the long anticipated sequel of "Attack on Titan" is going to have an April 2017 release date, and that Krista Lenz may be the new queen in the sequel.
It can be remembered that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 faced numerous problems that prevented it from airing soon. Previous reports said that the delays were due to the hectic schedules of the illustrator of the manga. Fortunately, recent reports are loud that the sequel is going to possibly air by April 2017, Christian Today reported.
According to the same publication, the illustrator of the manga, Haijime Isayama, may have guaranteed the fans with a great second installment. The artist said that the delays happened in airing "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will be the main reason why it is going to be the kind of anime that everyone will enjoy.
On the other note, Vine Report cited several possible story arcs for "Attack on Titan" Season 2. It is said that the second installment will reveal the royal family, and among the members is Krista Lenz, whose real name is Historia Reiss.
It can be recalled that Krista is among the best recruits of her batch, alongside Eren, Mikasa and Armin. She was also one of the members of the Survey Corps; however, despite of her camouflage, her cover will soon be blown as well as the person who protects her inside the corps.
In addition, given that Krista is a Reiss, many are speculating that she will be the next queen in "Attack on Titan" Season 2, and that the current king is going to be overthrown because of his wrongdoings. It was said that Captain Erwin Smith will start the rebellion against the current king.
As of the moment, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is rumored to air on April 2017.
