It can be remembered that the popular anime series concluded way back in 2013, and now, 3 years later, fans are still asking when they would see Eren Yeager battling against the antagonists' titans.

According to reports, the publisher of the show's manga version, Kodansha, confirmed that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will not be seen on the small screen until next year. Kodansha confirms the postponement during an interview with Mission Tokyo, Breathe Cast has learned. The publishing company also noted that the second installment might be available by January 2017.

In addition, the same publication did also report that the director of "Attack on Titan," Tetsuro Araki, is said to be preoccupied with his current project, which is the "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" anime series. This led fans to think that this may be the reason why "Attack on Titan" Season 2 premiere was moved to a 2017 release, instead of making it available this year.

On the other hand, it is said that the other possible reason why the postponement happened is because of the lack of material to produce the whole second season of the sequel, Tech Times reported. The same report did also say that the producer of the series, Wit Studio, can create other storylines different from the manga just to speed things up in terms of the production of "Attack on Titan" season 2; however, it is said that the producer may not want to be away from the original storyline.

Meanwhile, rumors are pointing out to details that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 would feature Eren Yeager as a strong titan, and that he may be able to defeat the Colossal Titan with ease. Perhaps, fans should just wait for other spoilers of their favorite anime series, which may surface in the near future.
