"Sleepy Hollow" alum Nikki Reed was spotted at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con with her husband Ian Somerhalder.

Even though the actress didn't join the panel in the discussions, her presence at the event heightened speculations that she's gearing up to cameo in the hit The CW series.

According to Pop Sugar, since "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will be ending next year, executive producer Julie Plec could decide to invite some old cast members to return.

With this, the exec may also decide to ask some actors to appear in the series even just for very small roles.

At present, Reed is no longer tied to FOX's "Sleepy Hollow," and her iMDb page didn't list any new projects for her anytime soon.

This means that Reed's schedule is pretty free and flexible at the moment. In fact, she's also been tagging along with her husband during the latter's script readings and dinner with the cast of "The Vampire Diaries."

Meanwhile, some fans believe that it's impossible for Reed to guest star in "The Vampire Diaries" especially with the rumors that Nina Dobrev will return in the finale.

If this will be the case, Reed cannot play the role of Ian Somerhalder's Damon Salvatore's love interest because he is bound to end up with Dobrev's Elena Gilbert.

On the other hand, it's also possible that Reed will play the role of a villainous character that will just head to Mystic Falls for a very short period of time.

As of late, Reed, Somerhalder and Dobrev haven't confirmed or denied the speculations.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 8 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.

Happy Sunday! Remember every Sunday I am donating my social media to my @YearsofLiving team so they can share their personal stories about how carbon pricing can and WILL solve climate change! Read with me! My name is Radhika Shah, and I live in Dallas, Texas. Growing up in Texas as an environmentalist was difficult at times. I used to get ridiculed for asking someone to recycle a water bottle, or to turn off the water while brushing their teeth. Other kids my age didn’t understand why I was so set in my ways. However, even at a young age I was able to appreciate all that Mother Nature has to offer. Throughout the years, I’ve volunteered and interned through various environmental organizations. I’ve learned that not everyone is like the children I grew up with. Working with Oregon Climate and Citizen’s Climate Lobby has showed me that many young people are passionate about environmental advocacy and do have a say in our current situation. I’m working hard to let Texan legislators know that we must put a price on carbon pollution if we want to solve climate change. By simply reaching out to district representatives and voicing opinions, together we can show that we demand a change in current energy and resource policies. Engaging in the political leg of the carbon price campaign starts with small actions, but can lead to big changes. I encourage you to take action and help protect our fragile environment. You can find your legislators at bit.ly/RepLookUp. Call or email them! They are waiting to hear from constituents like you. Together, we can hold polluters accountable to #PutAPriceOnIt.
