New "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" details will feature two new transformation in the latest game trailer and more improvements on the online content in the sequel.
Bandai Namco Entertainment streamed a new gameplay trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2", which focuses on more character customization, field exploration and new transformations. As seen in the video, the created character is a new Time Patroller in the new hub city called Conton city as he joins Time Patroller Trunks, Supreme Kai of Time, Old Kai and many more in defending the "Dragon Ball" timeline against the Mira and Towa.
Gamers are able to travel through different places and worlds in the "Dragon Ball" universe such as Capsule Corp., Frieza's base and in planet Namek. The trailer also highlights new transformations for the created characters in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" such as Super Saiyan 3 for the Saiyans, Great Namek from the Namekian race, Golden form for the Frieza race, "Kid Buu" form for the Majin Race and a Nimbus cloud and pole for the Human race. These transformations may add more customization ideas for gamers to explore.
Lastly, new characters have been highlighted in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" such Android 16, Imperfect Cell, Time Breaker Bardock and many more joining the likes of Son Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and the rest of the Z warriors, WCCFTech reported.
In other news, Game producer Masayuki Hirano stated that Bandai Namco looks to improve the online content for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" so that gamers from around the world can interact and play with one another, whether doing quest and fighting in tournaments, Gamereactor reported.
Bandai Namco looks to add new storyline content from "Dragon Ball Super" into the sequel as both Black Goku and Future Trunks will be added as DLC characters.
There is also a limited "Golden Bundle" edition of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature a copy of the game and an exclusive Super Saiyan Son Goku glow in the dark Funko 3 figurine. The bundle pack will cost around $64.99 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The "Day One" edition of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will Black Goku as a pre-ordered fighter and there is also a flying pillar that the created character can use to travel around Conton City.
The "Deluxe Edition" will feature Future Trunks, a copy of the game and a season pass, which features future new playable characters, episodes and quests, Masters and Master quests, new stages and character skins, accessories and skills.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will launch on Oct. 25 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
