On Thursday night, Morgan Freeman became a top trending topic on Twitter after viewers of the Democratic National Convention heard his voice on TVs as he narrated the Hillary Clinton introductory film produced by Shonda Rhimes.

Shonda Rhimes who is well known for creating "Scandal," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practise" sat down with Hillary Clinton over coffee recently. Their discussion led to "Hillary," a biographical film shown on Thursday at the climax of the convention.

According to The Huffington Post, the short film which was narrated by Morgan Freeman, outlined the progression of the Democratic Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton's political reform and resilient spirit. It gives a story of how Clinton stands for true change and bringing the people together. The film is seen as an eye-opening view at a person who is endeavoring to bring fresh the American spirit.

The narration by Freeman began with a voiceover, "Here is a woman," his commanding voice was well recognized as he continued. "What does she dream of? How many times will she leave her mark? When does she feel proud? How many ways will she light up the world?"

The video follows Clinton from her upbringing through her endeavors in the aftermath of 9/11 up to her role when Osama Bin Laden was killed by U.S forces. During the video making, Rhimes acknowledged it as an honor to provide America with an intimate portrait of Hillary. The television producer and writer added that everyone already knows the powerhouse, and with the piece, everyone will get to know the person, Vulture reported.

To many, the short film reminds them all that the #ImWithHer movement needs them to make a history. The wife of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton believes that it is the role of the president to stand up and fight for the American dream every single day.

After the narration, Freeman ended up been the focus of thousands of tweets, including Josh Charles, the former "The Good Wife" star who wrote, "If this video ends with Morgan Freeman saying 'I miss my friend Andy Dufresne' then the Democrats win it all," referencing Freeman's famous line from "The Shawshank Redemption."
