"19 Kids and Counting" alum Anna Duggar wasn't featured in the teaser for the reality TV show's spinoff "Jill & Jessa: Counting On."
According to Design N Trend, Duggar was heavily featured in the teaser for season 1 because this was the time when "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled because of the wrongdoings of her husband Josh.
Since then, some parts of the spinoff focused on how Duggar's life has been like while Josh was in rehab. The reality TV star also dished on her reactions and thoughts when she found out the truth about Josh's sexual molestation scandal and infidelity.
However, now that Josh is already out of rehab, there are rumors that TLC no longer needs Duggar as much as they did to hype up the spinoff last season.
The clip that was released by TLC now only features Jill Duggar-Dillard, Jessa Duggar-Seewald and their younger sister Jinger. The latter recently got engaged to her boyfriend Jeremy Vuolo.
Meanwhile, the same publication noted that Duggar's non-inclusion in the teaser may also mean that there are other more important storylines the reality TV show wants to focus on for season 2.
After all, Jessa and her husband Ben are contemplating on adopting a child; Jill and husband Derick are trying to have another baby and Jinger will soon be preoccupied by all of her wedding preparations and the wedding proper itself.
In other news, there are some rumors that Josh may also be featured in the spinoff starting season 2.
Previously, TLC cancelled "19 Kids and Counting" after the advertisers pulled out their spots from the show. However, it's possible that fans can seem glimpses of him and his new life with his wife.
There are also some speculations that Josh might have been the one to convince Duggar not to appear in the spinoff. After all, Josh is trying to live a peaceful and quiet life away from the press. Ever since he got out of rehab, he has lived a very low-key life with his wife and four children.
Returning or being part of the spinoff could possibly mean opening old wounds for the couple.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" season 2 will premiere on TLC next month.
