Michael Jordan was known throughout his entire career for being ruthless and highly competitive, never backing away from any sort of challenge regardless of his opponent or the odds against him. It apparently still holds true to this day.

During the Michael Jordan Flight School youth basketball camp a few days ago, Los Angeles Clippers star point guard Chris Paul tested Jordan's renowned competitiveness by challenging him to a simple contest. Jordan would get six shots and if he missed three of those, all the kids participating in the camp would get free shoes, as reported by Matt Moore of CBS Sports. Jordan gamely took the challenge.

Paul then encouraged the campers to shout as loud as they can while pounding the floor in order to try to distract Jordan. His Airness then proceeded to take and make all of his shots, with the first two hitting nothing but the bottom of the net, leaving no doubt that even at 53 years old and being retired for over a decade, his competitive fire is still burning. His last shot was a free throw with Paul attempting to cover Jordan's eyes with his hand while taking the shot, but to no avail. Jordan still hit the shot cleanly with the ball not even touching any part of the rim, despite the distraction. Just like when Jordan hit game-winners on the road while in the NBA, the gym got quiet very quickly, according to a Fox Sports report.

Jordan gave the campers another chance to bring home free shoes when he challenged Paul to a similar game, with slightly different rules. He said that Paul had to make all of his shots in order for the kids to get their rewards. Paul accepted the challenge and slowly proceeded to hit his first five shots cleanly. However, his last attempt went in and then rattled out, which earned a collective groan from the kids.

Jordan still gave the campers one final chance to take home shoes when he challenged former Knicks coach Derek Fisher to make all of his shots, just like Paul. Fisher missed a free throw, which meant that Jordan won once again, just like in during his days with the Chicago Bulls.
