Cara Delevingne has opened her heart over her much-talked about relationship with girlfriend Annie Clark, who goes under the stage name St. Vincent. The supermodel recently declared that she has never felt this way before.

"Before, I didn't know what love was , real love," the model and actress told Vogue. "I didn't understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now, I know the meaning of life is love."

Delevingne seemed to be proud of describing herself as a gay person. However, she admitted in the interview that she used to use the word gay in a bad light as a child.

The "Suicide Squad" star also said that when it comes to her sexuality, she always has the full backing of her parents. Earlier, she has been linked to singer Jake Bugg as well as "Fast and Furious" star Michelle Rodriguez.

Delevingne and St. Vincent have been dating since April 2015. In Feburary, the former sparked the engagement rumors when she was apparently seen proposing to her girlfriend in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower and she continues to sport a giant diamond on her ring finger which further fuelled that the two are actually engaged.

Speaking about her professional life, the 23-year-old declared that her passion for acting is so great that she could even do it for free. She is playing Enchantress in "Suicide Squad," which is set to hit theatres on Aug. 5.

Meanwhile, Delevingne was spotted channeling her inner fashion vixen in New York on July 31, Sunday, Daily Mail reported. The British model-turned-actress, who is currently on the promotion trail for her new comic book movie, flaunted her toned pins in a daring pair of sheer black floral 3D embellished shorts that she paired up with black and white print silk shirt and a pair of flirty fishnet tights.

Keeping her skin tone in a natural shade, the fashionista gave her eyes the much deserved attention with an exaggerated feline flick with lashings of dramatic black eyeliner. She kept her new shorter hair in a relaxed half ponytail with her golden tresses styled into a soft wave.
