During the offseason, a large amount of trades have been rumored, several have been completed and some are bound to be finalized up until the season's trade deadline on February 2017. However, there are currently three players in today's league who are deemed untradeable, due to the no-trade clauses in their respective contracts.

Kevin Garnett (F/C, Minnesota Timberwolves)

The 40-year old, 21-year NBA veteran has been traded three times throughout his long career, despite having a no-trade clause in each situation. When Garnett was first traded to Boston in 2007, he had to agree to the trade in order to make it happen, which he did when he found out that Boston also acquired sharpshooter Ray Allen and still had All-Star Paul Pierce in their roster. When Boston traded Garnett to Brooklyn six years later, he also had to consent to the deal, which he did, and did so once again in 2015 in order to go back to Minnesota, where he first began his playing career as a rookie out of high school. Garnett retained the no-trade clause throughout those moves because the clause remained in effect with his new teams, according to Cbafaq.com.

Carmelo Anthony (F, New York Knicks)

The Knicks star forward has been mentioned in trade rumors several times over the past few seasons, but is still currently the Knicks cornerstone. The rumors have not been as loud regarding Anthony this offseason, mainly due to the moves made by team president Phil Jackson - the acquisition of point guard Derrick Rose and center Joakim Noah from the Chicago Bulls, the hiring of new head coach Jeff Hornacek, and the emergence of last year's draft pick Kristaps Porzingis from Latvia.

Dirk Nowitzki (F, Dallas Mavericks)

It is now looking very likely that the sweet-shooting German will retire as the most successful Maverick in history. He was rewarded richly this summer when he agreed to a deal worth $50 million for two years. Owner Mark Cuban does not want to trade his franchise cornerstone, and even if he did, it would need Nowitzki's approval for it to happen.

Last season, six players had no-trade clauses, according to Fox Sports. Two of those have retired, namely Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant, while the third, Dwyane Wade, chose to leave Miami as a free-agent, rendering him ineligible for the clause in his current deal.

Here are some moves made during this offseason:
