"America's Got Talent" performance by duo couple Ryan Stock and Amber Lynn Walker brought the audience to their feet on Aug. 2, Tuesday, when their stunt went wrong. Amber is said to have accidentally shot her fiancé in the throat with a flaming arrow.

Stock had previously shown off some throat skills by swallowing arrows and swords, both of which had been bent. He then proceeded to wear some safety goggles as his partner Amber climbed up a ladder with a crossbow intending to shoot it to his mouth. After lining and lighting the arrow, amber fired it, but it accidentally landed on Stock's throat.

This unexpected turn of events in the two-minute performance took the audience and judges off their guard. "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon went by to Stock, breaking the audience silence, to ascertain that he was not on fire. The judges then advised Stock to seek medical attention, while ignoring his remarks of saying that he was okay, Us Weekly reported.

The live broadcast later went on a commercial break with Nick Cannon informing the "America's Got Talent" viewers that Stock was fine. Clips of the outraged show had already been taken and, therefore, people were able to review what really happened during the performance and what exactly went wrong.

Following the tragedy of the couple's performance, Stock told his fans that he was okay and fortunate enough to have walked out of the incident alive. He referred to the incident as a mechanical failure. YouTube's official channel of the event has, since then, not shown viewers what happened to Stock after being shot.

According to The Independent, the on-going season of "America's Got Talent" has boasted an audience of about 11.4 million views in every night, something that has prompted the regeneration of a new season in 2017. With the current incidents of flaming arrows landing on talent's throats, "America's Got Talent" views are expected to go even a notch higher.

In the meantime, there will not be any airing of "America's Got Talent" for the next 14 days.
