Kim Rae Won and Park Shin Hye's kissing scenes in SBS's "Doctors" has been a much-talked-about topic, after the 35-year-old actor was called a "kiss expert" by fans.

Recently, Kim was interviewed for the August issue of the Korean style magazine, High Cut, where he talked about his on-going SBS's drama and dished on what it was like having to kiss the "Pinocchio" actress on the set.

"I have no idea why I got such a nickname," Kim told Korea's High Cut magazine, as cited by The Kpop Herald. "It is all due to good camera angles that made me look a good kisser. I don't consider how I look on camera when I act, my pose just comes out looking natural when I'm lost in the moment."

The twelfth episode of SBS's "Doctors," which aired on July 26, saw the romantic lip-locking scene between Hong Ji-Hong (Kim) and Yoo Hye-Jung (Park) that took place on the claw machine. The said episode accumulated a national TV rating of 21.1 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

"I was also curious why such claw crane machine would be placed at home," Kim added. "I asked the writer whether she doesn't think it's a bit troublesome, but she found a way to make use of the machine like that... I think we used the claw machine very well as a kiss scene location."

Kim revealed that the claw crane machine was intended to imply Hong Ji-Hong's loneliness and lack of affection from his biological parents. Avid viewers may recall that Hong Ji-Hong's parents died in a traffic accident when he was young.

"Doctors" is a 20-episode drama about the relationship amongst doctors and patients, as well as the social prejudice of one's educational background and origin. The drama also stars Lee Sung Kyung, Yoon Gyung-Sang, Ji Soo, Moon Ji-In, Lee Ho-Jae, Kim Young-Ae and more.

Meanwhile, Kim's recent photo shoot will be published in Korea's High Cut magazine on Aug. 4, Thursday. The actor, who made his acting debut in 1997's teen drama "Me," became a household name after playing a law student, Kyung-Mi, in 2003's hit drama "Rooftop Room Cat."
