Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton fans, who were worried about the pair drifting apart, as some past media reports suggested, can rejoice as the couple is going strong. Proof is their latest public display of affection when Stefani embraced the country star on stage, during her performance.
On Tuesday, Blake Shelton joined her on stage and Stefani could not keep herself from cuddling up to him and gave him a tight embrace, Entertainment Tonight has learned. The duo sang their duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" with glee and seemed to enjoy every moment of their togetherness. They looked totally at ease with the crowd and the shutterbugs.
What is more, the 46-year-old pop singer was seen posing for a selfie with her 40-year-old beau at the Detroit venue. She was totally in mood and later also shared a group photo that shows Shelton in a new hairstyle. Their Snapchat rehearsal video too came to fore, which Stefani had posted on her account.
Well, it seems the two are much more in love than they ever were and this is why the engagement rumors are also doing the rounds. A source close to Stefani has said that everyone is expecting them to get engaged some point soon, People reported. It also said that the present timing is not right as they are busy in their tours, but their future is bright.
Another source added that Gwen is very happy with Blake and always acts giddy when talking about him. Though the couple does not have any immediate plans for their future, they are in a serious relationship. According to an insider, Blake is very supportive of her career and makes all the efforts to stay in touch with her.
He understands the pressure of a tour and is also the biggest fan of his girlfriend. It might seem that they do not have much in common as they come from diametrically different backgrounds. However, their friends claim that they have much more in common than what meets the eyes.
Notably, a few weeks back, speculations were rife that the couple is headed for a split as their diverse background had caused a rift.
