Chapter 836 of "One Piece" will finally free Luffy and his comrades from the seducing woods after defeating Cracker. With the help of the Buried Guy, who was Big Mom's ex-husband, they will be heading over to Totland. Meanwhile, Jinbe will save Pekoms by controlling the sharks surrounding the latter, and will help Pedro and Brooke locate the Road Poneglyph.
The last chapter left off with several scenes including Sanji, who was held prisoner at Germa castle, and was angered by his elder brothers by insulting his weakness. On the other hand, there was also Jinbei who came back to Big Mom's crew after the latter threatened him and offered him something he cannot refuse.
Pedro and Brooke successfully arrived at the Road Poneglyph's whereabouts but Baron Tamago raised security when he knew the duo reached the destination. The story continues with Luffy, Nami and Chopper with the Buried Guy who was snatched by Cracker. A fan at Oro Jackson came up with a prediction that Luffy will save him and they will have a conversation about Lola, who will be asked by the Buried Guy if still alive.
Luffy will then him she is still living but was never married to anybody since none wanted to take her hand. This will somewhat sadden the buried guy but will also give him some relief knowing her daughter is safe. He will explain how Big Mom marries and leaves her husbands after producing two children with them.
Another speculation was made by a fan in one of One Piece's forum. The user suggested an allegiance will be made by Luffy and Big Mom's ex-husband so that the latter will be able to see his two daughters, Lola and Chiffon.
On the other hand, Pedro and Brooke will encounter Pekoms who was already falling in water. The two will try to save him but Jinbei will arrive, will take control of the sharks and will eventually save Pekom. The group will have a chance to talk to each other, with Jinbei revealing the location of Road Poneglyph to Pedro and Brooke.
