New details and possible spoilers for "Arrow" season 5 "will feature the effects of "Flashpoint" in the show and Stephen Amell teased four-part crossover with "Supergirl", "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow."

"Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle teased that the "Flashpoint" plot of "The Flash" season 3 will have a "little effect" on plot details of "Arrow" season 5", but she did not divulge any more details about it. However, Mericle mentioned that some of the characters will be influenced and more impacted by it, with special mentioned of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards). The "Flashpoint" event will be featured as a major plot in "The Flash" season 3 since Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) changed the past and altered the timeline, thus giving birth to a new alternate present.

Mericle added that the plot of "Arrow" season 5 will take place four and haft months after the events of season 4 and Star City is in a bigger dire state than before, now that mob is terrorizing the city and with Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stepen Amell) accepting his position as mayor, he will need all the help he can get in the form of a new Team Arrow consisting of Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), Vigilante (Josh Segarra) and Artemis (Madison McLaughlin).

Flashback scenes in "Arrow" season 5 will take place in Russia were in Oliver will meet the Bratva Russian mob for the first time and establishing a relationship with them, ComicBookResources reported.

In other news, "TMNT 2" star Stephen Amell teased fans on the four-part crossover with all four DC TV series; "Arrow", "The Flash", "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow.

Amell tweeted a photo n Twitter featuring the legs of cast members of all four shows such as Gustin, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz and Melissa Benoist in their superhero costumes.

Several reports revealed that Kara Zor-El/Supergirl (Benoist) will be the main focus of the four-part crossover and showrunner Greg Berlanti told Entertainment Weekly that all the heroes from all four shows will unite to combat a powerful threat.

Fans are still questioning as to who or what this "unifying threat" could be as Berlanti did not elaborate any further details. With "Legends of Tomorrow" introducing both the Justice Society of America and the Legion of Doom, it seems that the four-part episode will serves as the instrument to make the Legion of Doom a powerful threat or a precursor of something far worse than them.

"Arrow" will return on Oct. 5 on the CW Network.
