2PM leader Jun. K, whose real name is Kim Min Jun, revealed some spoilers regarding the group's upcoming comeback. After a one-year hiatus, it was reported that the 6-member boy band will be having their comeback in just a matter of months.

On Aug. 8, Monday, Jun. K held a press showcase for his first solo mini-album, titled "Mr. No Love." In the midst of the event, which was simultaneously aired on Naver's V app, the 28-year-old singer-songwriter shared some exciting details about 2PM's comeback.

"2PM is preparing for a comeback as well," All Kpop quoted Jun. K as saying. "You can expect us by this September or October."

Having last promoted in 2015 with the group's fifth studio album, "No. 5," it has been a while since fans have seen 2PM in action. It is said that 2PM's current members, Jun. K, Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Taecyeon, Chansung and Junho, have been composing and gather new songs for their comeback album.

"The member all all working on making songs," Jun. K added. "You will be able to see an improved side of us."

More details about the eagerly anticipated comeback will be revealed soon. By accentuating their tough and macho beast-like images, 2PM made the "Jimseung-dol" phenomenon in 2008.

Since then, the boy band become tremendously prominent  in Japan, releasing their first Japanese studio album (third album overall), dubbed the "Republic of 2PM," there. The album includes three singles and eight original Japanese songs.

"Republic of 2PM's" lead single, "Take Off," was released on May 18, 2011, and has sold more than 75,000 copies at the date, whilst the second single "I'm Your Man" has sold more than 85,000 copies.

The third and last single "Ultra Lover" sold more than 100,000 copies, making it the first single of the group to get certified Gold by RIAJ. All three singles topped the number four spot in Oricon's Weekly chart.
