One of South Korea's largest entertainment agencies, SM Entertainment is launching a fresh kind of online platforms for the fans of its artists to share with one another. Before the main launch of FanBook, the label is calling all talented fan artists to submit their fan art for display. They can do so from Aug. 9, Tuesday, until Aug. 31. Various prizes await those who become chosen, according to Allkpop.

Selected fan art works will be announced on Sept. 7 and will be displayed at both of SM's Communication Center and COEX Artium. SM Entertainment is planning to expand the FanBook following its launch. It will incorporate in its services optional marketing later.

Meanwhile, the label also revealed the full lineup of its 64 artists for the upcoming Spectrum Dance Music Festival through a poster. Set on Oct. 1 and 2 at Seoul's Nanji Hangang Park, the festival is brought by Dream Maker Entertainment and SM Entertainment.

The Spectrum Dance Music Festival will feature this year's most popular dance music genres, including hip hop and electronic dance. The festival is different from other events of SM Entertainment because it is based on the concept of theme park.

The dance music event will feature many activity programs as well as interactive performances for those who will attend. It is expected to cater to all ages and interests, as it is meant to be enjoyed by everyone, according to Officially KMusic.

As the first Spectrum Dance Music Festival, Korea's entertainment label hopes to expand the interest of the event and take the festival overseas in the long run. The festival could be held in the world's major cities later.

Korea's hugely popular entertainment firm is home to popular K-Pop artists like Super Junior, Girls Generation, SHINee, BoA, TVXQ, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT and a lot more. It also had the pioneer groups S.E.S., H.O.T., Shinhwa and Fly to the Sky. The agency was founded by former musician Lee Soo Man in 1995.
