Superstar Jackie Chan surely loves doing dangerous stunts. The actor scaled the roof of Australia's iconic Sydney Opera House on Aug. 10, Wednesday, to film a fight scene for his upcoming movie "Bleeding Steel."

Despite the breathtaking height, the legendary actor, who found fame in Hollywood as a martial artist and stuntman during the 90s, appeared to be quite in his element. Sporting all black attire, the actor was spotted filming fighting scene alongside one of his female co-stars, Tess Haubrich, TMZ reported.

The breathtaking clip obtained by 9News shows the 62-year-old actor on top of the iconic jaunty building on Wednesday afternoon fighting the advance of the latex-clad Haubrich. At one moment, the actor even reels back, a move that could have seemingly proved fatal despite the safety measures owing to the vertigo creating height. The actor is well known for doing his own stunts in his movies and has been reportedly injured many times during his career.

"Bleeding Steel" is set to premiere in 2017. Chan will be playing the hardened special forces agent who fights to protect a young woman from a sinister criminal gang after she witnesses a conspiracy.

The movie has the largest Chinese budget of any production to shoot in Australia. The Opera House will reportedly feature in the film's opening scenes as well. Some parts of the flick will also be shot in Taiwan.

Back in July, the actor told media that he loves to work in Australia. He admittedly knows a lot about the country since his family moved to Canberra from Hong Kong when he was only six years old. His family reportedly remained in Australia while he went to study in Hong Kong and eventually started filming movies across the globe.

Despite the fond connection, the actor has returned to the country to shoot a film after a long time. The last time he filmed a movie in Australia was in 1996, when he starred in the movie "Mr Nice Guy."
