THQ is alive once again but in its new form of THQ Nordic as developer Nordic Games acquired it back in 2014 after the company declared bankruptcy.

In addition to the new name, THQ Nordic has also announced that they are already developing 23 video game titles. Only 10 of the games have been publicly announced but the rest have not yet been disclosed yet.

THQ Nordic said that 13 of their projects are soon to be revealed in the following months as they come out of early production. No clues have been given as to what these are yet, but the company confirmed that most of them come from the same acquired IPs in the past.

Nordic Games managed to acquire Titan Quest and Darksiders which could mean THQ Nordic may already be developing sequels for the said franchises, Digital Trends has learned. Unfortunately, Saints Row was not one of the IPs that they managed to grab during the selling in 2013.

People were already hoping that a Saints Row V is already in production but THQ Nordic is not the developer to look at for updates. Volition and Deep Silver handle the development of the game and there is no news yet especially as they just recently launched the Saints Row IV: Gat Out Of Hell standalone expansion.

THQ Nordic could then be developing Darksiders 3 and they could reveal more titles as they will be joining Gamescom 2016 starting on August 17, GameRant reported. Other IPs that THQ Nordic owns are Red Faction, de Blob and Full Spectrum Warrior.

The company said that the rebranding is their next phase in their evolution as a company. THQ Nordic may reveal more of their plans soon but the undisclosed games are expected to be revealed before the end of the year.

THQ Nordic also owns Supreme Commanded and Stuntman which means sequels for the said titles can also be under development at the rebranded company. More of their games are expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Gamescom 2016 which will run until August 21 in Cologne, Europe along with other game developers.
