The noose is becoming tighter on Pokemon Go cheaters as Niantic warned them of being removed permanently.

Niantic’s warning followed a similar threat issued by Twitch on Tuesday on gamers using unofficial programs – often bots or software which spoof GPS – allowing players to go around the main gameplay to go outside and catch Pokemon.

Twitch also cited gamers who used third-party apps which is in violation of the streaming website’s Terms of Service.

In its Submit an Appeal form found in Niantic’s FAQ section, the developer of the popular virtual reality game said it is serious in reducing the number of cheater and also users of third party apps. The form spells out what consists violation of the Terms of Service.

These are falsification of location, the use of emulators and modified or unofficial software and accessing Pokemon Go clients or backends in an unauthorized way, including third-party software, reported Manila Shaker.

Niantic said the only way to report spoofers is by submitting a report in Niantic’s FAQ section which must be accompanied by a screenshot of the alleged cheaters. Filling up of some information is also required prior to submitting it to Niantic.

But Gamenguide said there are effective way to remove the permanent ban without doing it illegally. Citing tips shared by The Bitbag, the website said it could be done by deleting, re-downloading and re-installing the Pokemon Go app; using another gadget but avoid the Pokemon Go GPS spoofing software; and waiting for the Pokemon Go ban to expire.
