The exec clarified that it's not antagonist but antagonists. "No one is ever going to beat David Tennant at Kilgrave, so you don't do that. The biggest mistake would be we try to repeat that. You just go, 'OK, we're not doing that, so we have this open to us," she said.

Meanwhile, IBTimes, recently hinted on three possible protagonists that may be introduced in "Jessica Jones" season 2. One such character could be Ruby Thursday, the villainous character who has fought with Trish (Rachael Taylor) in the comic book version of "Jessica Jones." Also known as Thursday Rubinstein, the villain also fought against Hellcat during the Civil War.

Jigsaw is another character that may be introduced in the second season of the hit Netflix series. Jigsaw's main goal is to find revenge against Frank Castle. This does not mean though that he cannot sway his target towards Hell's Kitchen's crime fighters which includes Jessica.

"In the comics, he attempts to kill Jessica and her daughter, but Spider-Man stops him. She would get to defend herself if he were on the TV show," the publication noted.

Finally, Nuke may have already been introduced in the first season of "Jessica Jones" but not as Frank Simpson. A character named Will Simpson (Wil Traval) was introduced in season 1. He was featured in the finale episode giving an organization some pills.

According to Marvel Database, Nuke is a schizophrenic army veteran who is working for an organization who has been making super soldiers. He eventually got addicted to the pills that were given to him and ended up working for just about anyone who hires him.

In other news, it is still unclear when "Jessica Jones" will be released. There are some rumors that the second season will premiere on Netflix in 2018.
