The fighter who could challenge current IBF welterweight champion Kell "Special K" Brook has sounded off on the upcoming middleweight confrontation between Gennady "GGG" Golovkin and Brook. Errol Spence, the undefeated welterweight contender from Texas, said that he believes GGG will knock out Brook in the fight set for next month at the O2 Arena in London.

Golovkin (35-0, 32 KO) has been known to "knock out heavyweights in the gym" while Brook is moving up two weight classes to 160 pounds in order to face off the undisputed middleweight champion, according to The Mirror. "If I were to bet on it, I'd have Triple G by a knockout," said Spence.

Spence though, is giving Brook (36-0, 25 KO) a chance to win, knowing that in the sport of boxing, anything can happen. He noted that Brook is fighting in his hometown, with an expected 20,000 fans attending and cheering him on. He went on to say that if the fight went the full 12 rounds, Brook might escape with a decision and be declared winner.

Moving around the ring and boxing Golovkin would be the best chance of Brook winning, according to BoxingNews24. If he decides to stand up and trade with Golovkin, he might take a lot of punishment due to GGG's unquestioned punching power and inside fighting ability. Brook isn't known for inside fighting, an area where Golovkin thrives in.

The advantages of GGG going into the match are his ability to cut off the ring, punching power, and body punching capabilities. Brook can possibly go the whole 12 rounds if he moves well around the ring, jabs consistently, and prevents Golovkin from loading up and hitting him squarely.

Spence (20-0, 17 KO) commended Brook for going up in weight and taking a very dangerous fight against the knockout artist from Kazakhstan, saying it "takes a lot of guts" to do so. Spence is next in line for Brook's IBF welterweight belt if he gets past contender Leonard Bundu (33-1-1, 12 KO) next Sunday in New York in the title eliminator bout. Below is his interview where he talks about the upcoming middleweight title match.
