Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson relationship became controversial following "Twilight," their hit vampire movie together. Today, Stewart believes that her high-profile relationship with her co-star was "gross" and not real, which is pretty much different from her relationship now with Alicia Cargile.
It is rare to hear Stewart talking about her past romance with Pattinson, but this time, she believes she is more open because she wants everyone to see and understand her. Her nature was completely different during the wake of Stewart-Pattinson blockbuster-movie-franchise, and it is because she does not want to share her personal life to everyone.
"People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product," Stewart told The New York Times. "It wasn't real life anymore. And that was gross to me."
Stewart and Pattinson's relationship ended when she was caught having an affair with the "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in 2012. Soon the usual glamor of the popular vampire franchise began to fade, but Robsten remained to be a public entity.
The "Equals" actress has found love again and started dating a visual-effects producer Cargile. Stewart is more outspoken now about her relationship with Cargile because she said she does not want the feeling that she owes something to people. Pattinson, on the other hand, is now engaged to British singer FKA Twigs.
When Stewart and Pattinson were together, she told Elle U.K. that she hid everything because she felt that there is nothing left in her private life. However, things changed when she began dating a girl. She started opening her life in public and she realized that she is just happier.
Meanwhile, there is no certain date yet for Pattinson and Twigs wedding, but it looks life that the two are heading for the aisle anytime soon. They share the love for music and that keeps them stronger despite the controversies they are facing since they have been together.
