Talking about Sam, he said that there will be a hunt for him and Dean, who has witnessed Mary's reincarnation, will also be after him. Actor Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean, has also revealed some interesting detail. He said that Sam has no idea that Dean is alive and does not expect to be rescued by him.

However, he will be eventually enlightened about his brother's existence and get an idea about his whereabouts. Ackles also said that viewers should expect some Liam Neeson-Taken kind of action in the next season.

Meanwhile, Rick Springfield, who will be playing Lucifer in "Supernatural" Season 12, has said that the role is fun and quite well-written, claims Billboard. According to the rocker, he spent two hours in the makeup chair to get ready for one scene and termed the experience as incredible stuff. He also revealed that the effects being used in the show are insane.

Talking about The CW's series, he said that he had heard of it, but never realized its huge scale. Explaining further, the actor and rocker said that it has been there for twelve years and is popular worldwide, enjoying a giant fanbase. So, it kind of makes him wonder why he was unaware. Nonetheless, he is excited to play the character and does not have any qualms about being part of another popular TV series.

It is worth mentioning here that Springfield has recently essayed some small screen eccentric roles on "True Detective" and "Californication."
