'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' update: Filming affected due to the impending divorce of the lead actor Johnny Depp with Amber Heard

''Pirates of Carribbean'' is one of the most successful movie franchises of Hollywood. However, as per the latest updates, Johnny Depp, the main lead of the movie was responsible for the delay during the filming. His emotional state was affected due to the ongoing mud-slinging between his ex-wife Amber Heard and him.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer's efforts were appreciated by movie goers in the previous four prequels and it is expected that the upcoming movie of the same franchise too will be a huge success in the box-office. The movie is entitled ''Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'' and is all set to hit the cinemas on May 26, 2017. Johnny Depp who is donning the hat of Captain Jack Sparrow for the fifth time, seems to be depressed lately.

According to Yahoo, Depp's personal life's issues have been hampering his performance in the movie. His recent divorce with wife Amber Heard seems to have affected the popular actor in more ways than one. Australian DJ Jackie 'O' Henderson made comments about the unprofessional behaviour of Depp who often left the sets during the filming of the movie.

Depp was going through a rough patch in his life following the divorce with his wife which had costed him financially too. He had cut his finger after being under the influence of alcohol and popular drug ecstasy. It is also rumored that Depp was so upset with the break-up, that he even dipped his cut finger in paint and wrote on a mirror about how he felt about his the then wife Heard's affair with Billy Bob Thornton.

Depp had to undergo a surgery for his hand and the filming was delayed by a month. Meanwhile the divorce is now settled and Heard withdrew her case against Depp for domestic violence, reported US weekly. Heard received a huge settlement of $7 million and the famous Hollywood couple which was once an apple of eye for many, have moved on.

"Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love," the ex-couple revealed to the magazine. "Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity. There will be no further public statements about this matter'' the joint-statement clarified further.
