The past is back to haunt Snow White and Prince Charming in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6.
An exclusive photo from "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 shows Snow White, David and Regina exploring a crash site in the woods of Storybrooke, just after the characters from the Land of Untold Stories arrive in town. But what the group encounters is something much more sinister and it has something to do with what Regina did in the past.
"Snow's history with Regina comes back to haunt her and Charming," co-creator Adam Horowitz told TVLine. Apparently, a plan hatched by the Evil Queen years ago has come to into fruition in present-day Storybrooke.
Although Horowitz didn't give more details into this twist, actor Josh Dallas did reveal at SDCC 2016 that the Charmings have "stuff to deal with" in the sixth outing. Perhaps, another character causing trouble to the Charmings would be Cinderella, who's making a comeback in the third episode of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. It will be revealed that Cinderella has a connection to the Untold Stories. More of her relationship with Snow White will also be explored.
But if there's anyone Storybrooke should worry about, it's the Evil Queen who is basically gunning to unleash the full extent of her wrath this season.
In Season 5, Regina managed to separate herself from the Evil Queen and thought she had gotten rid of her once and for all. As fans of the show know by now, she didn't succeed and the Evil Queen is still very much alive.
Now that the Evil Queen is no longer muffled by Regina's humanity, she's become worse than ever. She's always wanted to get Snow White's heart, and now no one can stop her from getting and destroying everyone else's lives while she's on it.
"She's now without a conscience, so she's pure evil - and a lot of fun. Regina is desperate to really be this hero and be happy internally ... and that's really what she wants for herself," actress Lana Parilla said about her opposing characters, TV Line quoted.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will premiere on Sept. 25 on The CW.
