Oukitel U7 Plus is a budget phone that is now available with a preorder price of $69. However, it will be available for $89 after the end of presale period.
The Oukitel U7 Plus preorders will come to an end on Aug. 31, but shipping of the device will begin from Aug. 29. It is an upgraded version of the Oukitel U7 Pro that was launched in 2015.
The smartphone appears like an iPhone 6S Plus but sports a polycarbonate chassis., Gizmo China reported. It measures 157.6 x 78.4 x 9.15 mm and its weight is 195 grams.
The Oukitel U7 Plus features a 5.5-inch screen that supports HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the latest MediaTek MT6737 chipset that houses a quad-core processor that works at a clocking speed of 1.3 GHz.
It is coupled with 2 GB of RAM along with a native storage of 16 GB. The external storage supports up to 32 GB of microSD card. It comes preloaded with Android Marshmallow OS.
Its fingerprint sensor has multiple functionalities. Apart from unlocking the device, the sensor can be used to snap photos, receive an incoming call, play and pause music and videos. The conversation on the phone can be kept private through fingerprint security, but the user can allow family members to access other features of the phone by unlocking the phone through a password, Giz China reported.
It has a rear camera of 13-megapixel that comes with features like LED flash and HDR. For shooting selfies, it features 5-megapixel. It has a 2,500 mAh capacity battery. The smartphone is available in color choices like gold, gray, and rose gold. The smartphone can be now availed for $69 through AliExpress.
The Oukitel U7 Plus has a highly durable body and a display that cannot be shattered easily. Recently, Oukitel had released a video that shows the Oukitel U7 Plus and the other smartphone Oukitel C4 remains undamaged even if a watermelon is dropped on them from a height of 12 meters.
