"Fast 8" actor Jason Statham has decided not to get involved with the current on set drama of his co-stars. Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are said to be currently in the midst of a feud and Statham does not want to be caught in the middle of it.
It is now believed that for months a rift has been building between "Fast 8" co-stars Johnson and Vin Diesel. The speculations of such tension intensified when Johnson, who plays the intimidating Mr. Hobbs in the movie, took to Instagram to rant about his male co-stars.
After announcing that it is his final week on the set of "Fast and Furious 8," he calls out those he does not consider as "true professionals," saying that they are "chicken s-t" and candy "a-ses."
Jason Statham is, of course, one of Johnson's co-stars. And while it is not clear whether the 49-year old English actor belongs to the side that The Rock considers "true professionals" or not, he would rather not be involved, as reported by People.
He said, "I stay out of any bickering or any troubles that people have." And when it came to The Rock's controversial Instagram post, he said, "I have nothing to do with it and I don't want any part of it."
He added, "Look, Dwayne's his own man and what he says he's entitled to say in his own way. And what he wants to say - you've got to ask him."
From the actor's statement, it can be inferred that there is indeed some kind of feud on the set of the movie. Though he did not specifically mention who among the male "Fast 8" stars have beef with the 44-year-old WWE star and actor, it is certain that he is not one of them.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Statham, who plays Deckard Shaw in the upcoming "Fast and Furious" movie, is friends with Johnson and he wants to keep it that way.
So now, what really is going on between Johnson and Diesel has yet revealed. Meanwhile, it is good for fans to know that Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are in good terms with each other.
