"One of Us" star Joe Dempsie, 29, took to Twitter to comment on the National Fantasy Football Championship on Aug. 28, Sunday. The English actor is also known for playing Gendry in the HBO series "Game of Thrones" from 2011 to 2013.

In its official website, NFFC announced that fantasy football players can draft as often as they would like. They can compete for top league prizes and the grand prize worth $22,000.'

Along with "X-Men" actor Nicholas Hoult, Dempsie headlined the 2016 AsiaPop Comicon in the Philippines. During the event, fans enjoyed a special premiere of Marvel film's never-before-seen footages of and a grand showcase of Marvel movie, television and gaming content.

While in the Philippines for the 2016 AsiaPop Comicon, Dempsie talked about reprising his role as Gendry in "Game of Thrones." He was asked which character he would like Gendry to save if his character were to return to the HBO series, which stars Kit Harington as Jon Snow, the former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.

"Saving Jon Snow and his beautiful hair from imminent death," Inquirer quoted Dempsie as saying jokingly. "That'll be a nice way to go back."

Dempsie said he would really like to work again with Harrington. The former said he and the latter are good friends but their paths had never crossed on "Game of Thrones."

Gendry was last seen in "Game of Thrones" Season 3 episode 10 titled "Mhysa," which aired on June 9, 2013. In the episode, Jon said goodbye to Ygritte (Rose Leslie) while Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) returned to King's Landing. 

After "Game of Thrones," Dempsie went on to star in several TV series. He played Chris Cooper in "Southcliffe" and Higgy in "This is England '90."

Currently, Dempsie plays Rob Elliot in "One of Us." Watch the trailer of the BBC series here:
