Park Shin Hye has clarified baby speculations following the photo release of a baby boy on the "Doctors" actress' Instagram page.

A photo of a healthy looking infant that appeared in Park's Instagram page on Saturday, Aug. 27, has sparked baby speculations among netizens. Some fans even guessed that the baby boy may be the South Korean's star's younger brother. However, the "Doctors" actress clarified that the infant is her baby cousin, allkpop reported.

In the said social media picture, the baby was photographed sleeping soundly with his hands clasped together. The baby also wore a white-colored onesie with striped blue designs. Park wrote on Instagram that the sleeping infant was not her son nor her nephew. She stated that the baby, named Shin Yool, is the son of her youngest uncle.

The actress also took note of her 27 year age gap with her baby cousin. She even joked that her baby cousin appears to be praying while sleeping. "He's sleeping while saying amen? Aww," she wrote on Instagram, referring to the baby's clasped hands.

Park has recently ended her SBS drama project titled “Doctors” where she portrayed the character Yoo Hye Jung, a former high school rebel turned surgeon. The romance medical series aired its final episode on Tuesday, Aug. 23. Following the successful 20-episode run of the said drama, the actress’s agency S.A.L.T. Entertainment has unveiled a few behind-the-scenes images that depicted Yoo’s journey into adulthood, Soompi reported.

The “Pinocchio” star has also shared a touching message for avid viewers of the show. She recounted her “Doctors” filming days that covered four months, as indicated in the same report. Park described the said filming period as a precious and happy time for her. She also shared that she was thankful for having been a part of the SBS drama.

Park ended her message by indicating that she has been hesitant to say goodbye to the drama’s cast and crew members, as well as its loyal viewers. “I wanted to open my heart and show how much it hurts and how I don’t want to say goodbye,” she stated.

The SBS drama aired from mid-June until late Aug. 23 and posted strong viewership ratings until its episode finale.
