The fans' wish for Park Yoochun's false accusers to be given severe punishment appears to become real.
Soompi reported that the JYJ member's first accuser, referred to as "A," was sent to court on Monday, Aug. 29, and faced two charges - attempted threat and false accusation. She was indicted, while her male cousin and boyfriend, also involved in the case, were prosecuted without indictment.
IBT reported that "A" falsified the rape charge even if the actor did not force her to have sex in the bar's bathroom. However, she still filed a lawsuit against Park Yoochun because she felt the JYJ singer and his group saw her as easy person. Her boyfriend added that the consensual sex between the actor and "A" happened when she was drunk.
When he learned about the incident, the boyfriend got angry and filed charges. "However, [I] thought it was our fault for not finding out the exact situation of what happened before and after and that's why the charges were canceled," he explained.
The three later met with Park Chang Joo, representative of C-JeS Entertainment, the agency of Park Yoochun, and offered 500 million won ($440,000) to settle with the singer-actor. There is no word yet from the agency if the Hallyu star, who lost a lot of projects and income following the sexual assault charges the four women separately filed against him, would accept their settlement offer.
The three other female accusers of Park Yoochun had been acquitted of charges.
